Our Consulting services are offered in 8 broad suites – Strategic Planning & Management, Corporate Restructuring & Transformation, Business Process Management, Financial Management, Accountancy Services, Taxation Management, Human Resources Management as well as Sales & Marketing Management. These are offered either as Advisory or Outsourcing. Under the Advisory mode, we offer our services as external experts advising and guiding the client on best and market practices relating to the area of client’s challenge. We are not involved in the actual operating activities of the client, although most times this culminates into helping the client out in the implementation of the advisory work (Implementation Handholding). Under the outsourcing mode, the client under a memorandum of understanding cedes out a particular challenge area of its operations to us to operate or manage on its behalf so that the client can concentrate on its areas of core competence and/or competitive advantage.

Our strategic Planning & Management Services are modular consisting of three modules as follows:
Retreat Facilitation (Corporate, Board or Management)
When you are looking to escape from everyday fire-fighting and rushed, ineffective decision-making, we will help you and your team re-discover the value of an off-site or on-site, facilitated interaction, where you can take a longer-range view for goal-setting, ensuring alignment and making more effective decisions (in other words, getting the work done) which is critical to your organization’s success. As your facilitators, we can help you:
- Revalidate your mission, vision and core values Assess the extent to which the organization has realized its strategic intent
- Ensure organization-wide goals and objectives alignment
- Evaluate and align corporate and competitive strategy Analyse the external and competitive environment Conduct SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis
- Develop strategy or tactics that will help you build on your strengths, address weaknesses, and take advantages of opportunities while managing or eliminating the threats.
Strategic Planning
We render this service to both newly formed organisations and old ones trying to chart a new course for the attainment of their business intents. While our Retreat Facilitation Service can be offered as a standalone, our Strategic Planning Service cannot be offered as a standalone from the Retreat Facilitation Service. This is because the development of a sound strategic plan elicits the participation of key stakeholders, which can better be achieved through retreats and workshops.
Our strategic planning process for an existing organization with strategic management documents covers the following:
- Evaluation of your corporate mission, vision and core values.
- Testing the organization-wide goals and objectives to determine the degree of alignment
- SWOT Analysis
- Facilitating the development of corporate and competitive strategy
- Establishment of action plans with clear goals and objectives as well as clear evaluation metrics
- Provision of implementation support and follow ups.
Strategy Implementation Management & Evaluation
For some institutions the process of developing sound corporate and/or competitive strategy has been perfected especially for such institutions with sound and experienced management team; but the success of a good strategy no matter how beautiful lies in its execution. Execution requires focus, discipline and speed. At Kulabech, we have perfected the methodology to make management and staff of institutions execute their strategies and achieve the desired results.
Assuming that this is a standalone project, the methodology will cover:
- Review of the corporate mission, vision, core values, goals and objectives as well as corporate and competitive strategy to confirm whether the objectives are SMART
- The strategies in alignment with the goals, objectives and vision
- Implementation outputs and outcomes; as well as the existence of metrics/milestones for measuring performance.
- Sensitization of key stakeholders to confirm participation and ownership of the strategy Evaluation of the degree of compliance with the strategy implementation plan
- Reaffirmation, adjustment and/or development of performance metrics, milestones, expected outputs as well as outcomes.
